Types of Movement Reflexes In Infants

Nine Infant Reflexes:

1. Moro reflex: when the baby suddenly shocked when I heard a voice.

2. Blinking reflex: when the infant closed his eyes are so exposed to flashes of light or air blowing.

3. Babinski reflex: when the baby's footprints touched, his toes would swell.

4. Grasping reflex: when the palm is touched, he immediately grasp.

5. Rooting reflex: when the cheek or mouth is touched, his mouth will directly open and sounds like someone who suck.

6. Stepping reflex: when the body is removed and positioned standing on the surface of the floor, his feet planted on-going trail above the floor surface.

7. Sucking reflex: when there are objects inserted into his mouth, he sucked.

8. Swimming reflex: when placed in the water, his body will automatically make movements as if to swim.

9. Tonic neck reflex: when stretched, will hold hands and head turned to the right in a position like a fencer.
